Hackers attack The United Way

Hackers got access to the bank account of a branch of the The United Way charity and started transferring money to money mules, though the United Way staff noticed it right away and were able to get the money transferred back.

At the very least that attempt was thwarted. Many as we know are not. I cannot mention names, but other organizations raising money for charities are being attacked. I am sure it is an ongoing issue, just as hackers steal money from small businesses worldwide from malware infections. I am glad Brian Krebs is on top of that.
