http://hkupop.hku.hk/english/ is currently down due to a massive DDOS attack. Extracted from Google cache:
The survey finds that in terms of absolute rating, the strength rating of “Hongkongers” has significantly increased, that of “Chinese” and “citizens of the PRC” . . .

One can't help concluding that this attack is politically motivated. InfoSecurity magazine comments

Even Amazon Web Services servers couldn’t cope with traffic overload.

A major anti-Beijing news site and an online voting platform have been hit by major DDoS attacks rendering them unusable, just days before an unofficial referendum in Hong Kong on universal suffrage.

Amazon Web Services (AWS), Cloudflare and UDomain all suffered major DDoS attacks on June 14 and 15 in what many are seeing as a deliberate attempt to disrupt the vote.
