Hackers attack South Korean Web sites
SEOUL, March 4 (UPI) -- South Korea's presidential office and other major entities Web sites were shut down temporarily Friday, the victims of a cyberattack, industry officials said.
AhnLab Inc. said the presidential office, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade and Kookmin Bank were among the 29 institutions whose Web sites were plagued by the distributed denial-of-service attack, Yonhap News Agency reported.
